Fletcher Nickerson
As a performer, Fletcher Nickerson has toured the U.S. and Canada in Broadway musicals such as, “Dreamgirls,” “Chess,” and “A Chorus Line.” He has danced professionally with the River North Dance Company, and Gus Giordano. National television commercials, industrial films, and corporate trade shows are three of the many areas Fletcher has made his mark including work for McDonalds, General Mills, Baskin Robbins, Church’s Chicken, Tyson Foods, and Fila. Fletcher’s teaching credits include, Southern Methodist University, University of Nevada Las Vegas, University of Iowa, Brigham Young and Colorado State University.
Fletcher has served as a guest artist and master class teacher nationwide. His teaching style has received high praise from several prominent teacher/choreographers including Alonzo King – Lines San Francisco, Franscoise Martinet – Joffrey Ballet, and Lou Conte– Hubbard Street Chicago.
Incorporating Funk, Hip Hop and Athletics with traditional Ballet, Jazz and Modern dance techniques, Fletcher has established a tremendous track record with dancers of all ages. He provides his students with the “tools” necessary for pursuing a professional career in the performing arts, and is highly sought after for his ability to inspire individuals of all ages to be better than their best.
